K2Glass specializes in the processing, manufacturing, design and comprehensive marketing of glass-related products.
The production plant is dedicated to the transformation of glass, with vitrified digital printing lines, tempering furnaces, laminate and double glazing.
K2Glass has several automated cutting lines that allow us to optimize the cutting process (less waste and greater accuracy).
We offer to the cut any type of Glass, Monolithic Laminate, Lacobel, etc., and with the finish you want: polished edge, beveled edge, edging, drill…
You just need to specify the end use of the glass, the measurements and/or shapes of the glass you want to cut and the type of manufacturing you need.
We offer a fast service of quality and at the best price.
K2glass has a modern double glazing production line where two or more pieces of glass prepared superficially with a smooth edge are assembled, separated by an aluminium separator profile, Achieving isolating the whole from the outside offering some guarantees of isolation from external agents.
The use of profiles allows K2glass to offer the possibility of refilling the glasses with argon gas improving the performance of double and triple glazing.
Maximum size: 3500 x 2500 mm.
K2glass has the technology to print (digitally and with vitrifiable ink), glasses for industrial processes according to the models defined by the customer and in high definition (1440dpi).
Maximum printing surface: 3500mm. X 2500 mm.
K2glass has a horizontal tempering oven with the ability to process any thickness of material.
The planimetry obtained in this process is excellent, both in warp and surface roughness, which facilitates the possibility
It is a safety glass that is obtained through a heat treatment that consists of heating the glass to a temperature slightly lower than that of its softening and then cool it abruptly by cold air jets.
The tempering treatment gives the glass a higher resistance to mechanical stresses (bending, shock…) and to tensions of thermal origin (temperature differences), without altering the spectrophotometric properties of the base product.
K2glass’s production capacity allows the development of specific shapes determined by the customer, both in size and finish (drilling, CNC machining, etc).
Once the glasses are cut, they are passed to the manufacturing and surface preparation area, where they undergo a process of sanding and edging of the edges, to eliminate the micro fissures resulting from the cut.
The process of polishing the edges of the glass is done by means of diamond grinding wheels.
It achieves a smooth and aesthetic finish throughout the perimeter of the glass piece. Applications in decorative glass, countertops and furniture in general.
The most demanded canteados are: flat polished edge, curved polished edge and dove chest polished edge.
Beveling is a process of wear of the edges of the glass that can be performed both in straight or shaped bezel.
Beveling is a decorative aesthetic element. The most popular bevels are: Straight bevel and Inverted bevel.
It is similar to the bezel but can be made at any angle. The usefulness of this manufacture is that of joining the edges of two glasses.
Ground on the surface of the glass or mirror with a usually V-shaped grinder. Manufacture used to decorate mirrors, barracks and doors of passage.
Projection of a jet of sand or emery powder on one of the faces of the glass piece achieving a matte effect.
Wide range of finishes according to jet pressure and the grain size of the sand used. Widely used in decorative glass, mirrors, tables, doors, …
Bonding with U.V. crystals by applying resins and ultraviolet light. Quick drying, transparent and durable. Widely used in tables, shelves and display cases.
Perforation of the glass by diamond drills of different thickness. The shape can be straight or countersunk.
It consists of a cut or entrance to the glass. It is generally used for the placement of hardware on doors and windows.
Process of transferring paint on the surface of the glass by using photolithic screens that contain the design to print
Successive layers of resinandfiberglass are deposited on the surface of the mould.
Technique consisting of superimposing colored glasses to a base glass.
Widely used in design of mirrors and artistic stained glass.
The process of applying a coat of paint on one side of the glass.
– Vitrifiable paints: ceramic paint that melts with the glass in the tempering process, ensuring an adhesion and scratch resistance.
– Non vitrifiable paints: Paints with less resistance to scratching, their application is given in unfelted glasses.
We have a wide range of approved colors and there is also the possibility to choose any color of the existing color charts on the market (RAL, PANTONE, NCS) after approval of the same.
